Operator and acceptance
AiCalla is operated by Valhalla Innovations (Pty) Ltd in South Africa. By installing or using AiCalla, you agree to use it lawfully and in line with these terms.
Public availability and compatibility
AiCalla is publicly available on Google Play for supported devices running Android 10 or newer. Public features may change through future app updates.
What AiCalla Shield does
AiCalla assists with eligible incoming-call screening. It applies local Shield settings, personal caller rules and available bounded local context to return a Ring, Silence or Block decision and explain the outcome where possible.
Active Shield requires Android’s caller ID and Call Screening role. Selecting AiCalla for that role does not replace your normal Phone app.
Screening decisions have limits
Screening information and decisions may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. AiCalla cannot guarantee that every nuisance call will be identified or that every important call will be recognised. You remain responsible for reviewing settings, personal rules and call outcomes.
Your personal rules
You choose your Trusted, Silenced and Blocked rules and may change or remove them. These personal rules take priority over broader Shield settings and Community context. You are responsible for the rules you create.
Expecting a Call and Call Windows
A Call Window temporarily changes how ordinary unknown callers are handled. It does not make an unknown caller trusted. Personal Block and Silence rules remain in force, and normal Shield settings return when the window expires.
Community reports and identity information
Community reports are informational, can be incomplete and may change over time. They do not prove identity, wrongdoing, safety or reputation and do not block callers on their own.
Verified or listed identity indicates who may be using a number. It is not an AiCalla endorsement and does not guarantee that a call is safe, legitimate or correctly described.
Evidence Summary and Asked to stop
Evidence Summary helps organise a local, user-controlled record of relevant AiCalla activity. It is not legal advice, does not establish wrongdoing and does not automatically report a caller. Asked-to-stop records are personal notes, not proof that an official complaint or opt-out registration occurred.
Android and device behaviour
Android versions, device manufacturers, battery controls, system settings and permissions can affect overlays, lock-screen alerts, notifications and background behaviour. Optional Caller Insight or alerts may be unavailable even when local Shield screening continues.
Free, advertising and service availability
Core Shield protection remains available on Free. Free users may see limited consent-aware banner ads on approved non-call surfaces. If Billing or advertising is temporarily unavailable, Free Shield remains available, although plan verification, purchasing or ads may be delayed.
AiCalla Plus subscriptions
Monthly and Yearly Plus subscriptions are handled by Google Play. Google Play controls the displayed localised price, applicable taxes, purchase processing, renewal and cancellation under the applicable store terms. The current public Plus benefit is no AiCalla ads.
Business identity claims
A person submitting a business identity claim must be authorised to act for that business and must provide accurate information. AiCalla may request more information, approve or reject individual numbers, suspend publication or withdraw a listing. Verification does not let a business bypass user rules or guarantee that users will answer.
Emergencies and important decisions
AiCalla is not an emergency service. Do not rely on it as the only basis for urgent, medical, legal, financial, safety-related or emergency communication decisions. Use the appropriate emergency service and your own judgement.
Responsible use
Do not use AiCalla to harass, unlawfully monitor, impersonate or interfere with another person, or in any way that breaks applicable law or another person’s rights.
Changes and availability
AiCalla does not promise continuous or error-free operation. Features, supported devices, service integrations and public functionality may change through future app updates.
